STORAGE OF BOAT AND/OR MOTOR
(Attachment to TSSA Rental Agreement)

*The TSSA Self Storage Rental Agreement, paragraph 20, prohibits items from being stored that exceed $5,000 in value. This form will represent an amendment to the maximum permissible value that may be stored, so as to allow the abovedescribed item to be stored. Tenant acknowledges that Lessor provides no insurance for any Boat, Motor or other property stored on the premises and is not responsible for loss or damage of any kind regardless of the cause of the loss or damage.

Upon request, tenant will provide Lessor evidence of  ___ current insurance and/or  ___  current boat registration. Tenant’s failure to provide Lessor with written evidence of current insurance or current vehicle/boat registration (if checked above) will result in a monthly charge to tenant of $_____________ for each month that current information is not provided to Lessor. This charge is for liquidated damages for Lessor’s time, inconvenience, and trouble in getting tenant to provide such information.

Lessor may make written request to tenant by certified mail, return receipt requested for tenant to move the boat or trailer to another space for purposes of Lessor’s repaving, restriping, general maintenance, facility reconfiguration, or other such purpose. If tenant fails to move the boat trailer by the date and time requested, which may be no sooner than seven days from the date of the mailing of such request, Lessor may have the boat/trailer moved to another location in the facility at Lessor’s expense. Lessor will promptly notify tenant by mail, email or phone of any relocation authorized by this paragraph. If Lessor seizes a boat in the process of performing a foreclosure under Texas Property Code Chapter 59, Lessor may enter (through use of a locksmith or other reasonable means of entry) the boat for the purposes of inventorying its contents and
any cost of entry will be Lessee’s responsibility. Contents of the boat will be sold with the boat.

The undersigned certifies the information in this addendum is true to the best of the undersigned’s knowledge and correctly describes the boat/trailer (if any) now placed in or to be placed in the space described above pursuant to the TSSA Self Storage Rental Agreement. The undersigned acknowledges that failure to pay monthly rent and other sums due under the TSSA Self Storage Rental Agreement can result in foreclosure of the storage facility owner’s statutory lien on such boat/trailer.
